I want to say congratulations to every salon that participated in the 2015 Stamp Of Success, everyone that participated is a winner as far as I’m concerned. What an honor to have been recognized among the top Salons/ Spas in my industry, let alone to have won the award. I set out a year ago to make it my challenge to write a blog every week after attending a social media class with Fred Pryor, the nation’s largest business/skills seminar training in the U.S. I also had recently read The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results
by Gary Keller. This book makes you understand how you can set aside time and focus on something you really want to do in a busy schedule. I have read many books on business, how to motivate yourself, and what your time is worth, this book surpasses all.
LINCOLNSHIRE, IL (October 2015) – Razmataz Salon in Georgetown, Texas, owned by Rachel Smith, was recently honored by a national industry magazine for excellence in salon and spa marketing and promotion. The salon earned a STAMP award, which stands for Salon Today’s Annual Marketing Program, in the category of Salon Blog. Salon Today is the leading business management publication of the professional beauty industry.
In its fourth year, the competition awarded 54 STAMP awards in 25 categories in areas including everything from traditional marketing to digital marketing and campaigns to branded promotional materials. The winning entries were profiled in the September 2015 issue of Salon Today, as well as on the magazine’s website, salontoday.com.
Applicants entered the competition by sharing examples of their marketing pieces and writing essays that showed how the marketing idea was developed and executed, as well as how the salon or spa measured the results. A panel of judges comprised of the magazine’s editorial team judged each entry and selected this year’s STAMP winners.
“We started STAMP as a national ‘Show and Tell’ to encourage salon and spa owners to share their successful marketing ideas with one another,” says Stacey Soble, editor in chief. “We were extremely pleased with the wit, innovation and creativity showcased in this year’s entries.”
I will start a blog in the next few weeks that will help coach salon owners in the right direction to success and never will you experience a sleepless night again…………………We can all dream!!
Rachel,
Success is what you believe!
Owner, Razmataz Salon
Congratulations Rachel! You’ve worked hard and deserve it!
