I’m sure by now you’ve all heard of Olaplex. The before and after pictures of speak for themselves. We offer it as an add on service to any color or highlight, just ask your stylist if you are interested in it. We always recommend it for clients that want to go significantly lighter and for clients who already have damaged hair when they come in. It doesn’t just stop the damage it actually repairs the hair strands to an even better condition than before!

From Dark to Blonde with Olaplex without damage!

How is this possible?

The active ingredient in Olaplex is a compound called bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate. This compound is what they call the “bond multiplier”. Hair bonds are broken during thermal, mechanical and chemical services Olaplex links broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair during and after chemical services making them stronger than they were before. What does this mean for you? You can have the color you want without sacrificing the integrity of your hair!

Give me some background.

The Company started by finding two of the world’s leading PHD’s in Materials and Chemistry that had never worked on hair products before, Dr. Eric Pressly and Dr. Craig Hawker. With this fresh outlook, this dream team invented a single ingredient chemistry, that is free of silicone or oils, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, aldehydes, and is never tested on animals.
